Assign a Forecasting View to a Procore Project

While creating or editing a forecasting view in the Company level Admin tool, your company's Procore Administrator can assign it to one (1) or more Procore projects. This action makes the forecasting view available in the assigned project as an option that can be applied by users in the Project level Budget tool's View drop-down list.

• Required User Permissions:

  • 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool.

Budget View Page

1. Follow the relevant steps to create or edit a forecasting view.

2. On the 'Forecasting View' page, click the hyperlink (e.g., 0/27 Projects) under Assigned Projects.

3. In the Assign View to Projects modal, select one of the following options from the drop-down list:

   • Only specific projects. Select this option to manually assign the view. Use the search bar or scroll through the list to mark the checkbox next to each project you want to assign.
     Note: By default, this option is selected.

   • Assign to all new & existing projects. Select this option to automatically assign the forecasting view across all current and future projects.
     

     Note

     If your selection includes project templates, the forecasting view is carried over to new projects created using those templates. See Carry Over Budget and Forecasting Views from a Project Template.

4. Click Save Changes.

Forecasting Views Tab

1. Navigate to the Company level Admin tool.

2. Under 'Tool Settings', click Budget.

3. Select the Forecasting Views tab.

4. In the 'Forecasting Views' table, click the hyperlink (e.g., 0/27 Projects) under the Assigned Projects column next to the desired forecasting view.

5. In the Assign View to Projects modal, select one of the following options from the drop-down list:

   • Only specific projects. Select this option to manually assign the view. Use the search bar or scroll through the list to mark the checkbox next to each project you want to assign.

   • Assign to all new & existing projects. Select this option to automatically assign the forecasting view across all current and future projects.

6. Click Save Changes.
