Edit Assets (Android)

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • While there is not yet an Assets tool on the Procore mobile app, you can search for assets by Asset ID, Asset Type ID, or Asset Name, and view the asset's Details page.

  • Only custom fields with specific field types can be edited on mobile.

Steps

  1. Open the Procore app on an Android mobile device.

  2. Locate the asset record.

    • Scan a QR Code

      1. Open the Camera and scan the asset's QR code.

      2. Tap the Asset ID.

    • Search

      1. Select the project you want to search in.

      2. At the top of the Project Overview screen, tap search Icon Markup Search

      3. Search or filter for assets.

        • Tap the search bar to enter the Asset ID, Asset Type ID, or Asset Name.

        • Tap Tools and select Assets. Then tap Apply.

  3. Tap the edit Icon Edit2 icon.

  4. Update the asset information.

    Show/Hide Fields

    • Description

    • Location

    • Status

    • Trade

    • [Custom Fields with supported custom field types]

  5. Tap Save.
