Overview

Open Beta

The Asset Management feature is currently in open beta and is available to Procore customers by opting into the Company Level Assets and/or Project Level Assets through Procore Explore.

The features and documentation of this tool are subject to change without notice during the course of development.

The Assets tool is Procore's solution for managing the digital thread of your company's fixed assets—such as HVAC systems, fire protection equipment, doors and so on; from design and construction straight through to operations. By eliminating the friction of the traditional "data dump" handover, this tool ensures a connected, digital flow of information.

The Company Level Assets acts as the master repository for all assets within your organization. It provides a complete, consolidated view of:

  1. Assets created directly at the company level, which can later be assigned to projects or remain unassigned.

  2. Assets created directly within a specific project.

Administrators are the architects of your digital foundation. They define the asset's structure, establish the company-wide Asset Type Hierarchy, and customize the fields and statuses that govern all asset data. This configuration is crucial to create a robust, scalable, and standardized Asset Register that aligns all teams.

This Admin User Guide is your strategic blueprint, providing the detailed steps necessary to configure a best-in-class asset management framework that drives data consistency and delivers a perfect, operationally-ready digital handover across your entire organization.
