Create a Project in the Bid Board

Background

When you add a new project to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool, you can add details, upload documents, and begin the takeoff and estimating process, all from the same tool.

    • ‘Read-Only’ level permissions are required to be an ‘Estimator’ on a Bid Board project.

Create a Bid Board Project

 

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool.

  2. Click + Create New Project.

  3. Select either Create empty new project.
    OR
    Create Project from template

    • Choose a template from the dropdown menu.

  4. Once created, your project will include these tabs:

    • Overview: A page to enter project information, add notes, and assign tasks.

    • Documents: A tool that allows youto upload and manage documents and drawings.

    • Takeoff: A tool that allows you to add and manage takeoffs.

    • Estimating: A tool that allows you to add and manage estimates.

    • Bid: A page where you can adjust bid settings and export a bid.
