Create a Project in the Bid Board
Background
When you add a new project to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool, you can add details, upload documents, and begin the takeoff and estimating process, all from the same tool.
Things to Consider
Required User Permissions:
Required User Permissions for the Bid Board tool.
Required User Permissions for the Portfolio Planning tool.
The star
icon indicates Premium features available for purchase in Standalone Estimating and Free Accounts only.
Additional Information:
‘Read-Only’ level permissions are required to be an ‘Estimator’ on a Bid Board project.
Create a Bid Board Project
Steps
Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool.
Click + Create New Project.
Select either Create empty new project.
OR
Create Project from templateChoose a template from the dropdown menu.
Once created, your project will include these tabs:
Overview: A page to enter project information, add notes, and assign tasks.
Documents: A tool that allows youto upload and manage documents and drawings.
Takeoff: A tool that allows you to add and manage takeoffs.
Estimating: A tool that allows you to add and manage estimates.
Bid: A page where you can adjust bid settings and export a bid.
