Legacy to Modernized Change Events List View

Important

All Procore accounts are scheduled for automatic migration to the modernized list view on Nov 9, 2026. Companies can opt in early on a per-project OR company-level basis through Procore Explore.


Procore will discontinue the legacy Change Events list view. Effective Nov 9, 2026, all organization accounts will transition automatically to the modernized Change Events list view.

Required Permissions:

  • To enable the modernized list view for a project or company, you need Company Admin permissions in Procore Explore.

  • To view change events in the modernized list view and to access, filter, and view change events within the modernized list interface. you need 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Change Events tool

Background

The modernized list view offers enhanced performance for projects containing a high volume of change events, customizable columns to showcase fields relevant to your organization, Saved Views, as well as comprehensive filtering and grouping capabilities.

The key benefits of the modernized list view include:

  • Faster performance for projects managing a high volume of change events.

  • Customizable columns allow you to display the specific fields relevant to your team.

  • Procore replaced legacy company-level Configurable Views for Change Events with Saved Views. For more information, see Saved Views .

  • Advanced filtering and grouping options.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Change Events tool to view change events in the modernized list view and to access, filter, and view change events within the modernized list interface.

  • Additional Information

    • In the modernized view, you can find the legacy Summary and Detail sub-tabs under Classic Detail and Classic Summary in the View selector.

    • You can switch to the modernized view anytime. On November 9, 2026, all remaining legacy view users will be automatically updated.

    • No action is required before November 9, 2026. If you take no action, your account will migrate automatically on that date.

    • After November 9, 2026, the legacy Change Events list view is no longer available.

Important

No manual steps are required, as all accounts will update automatically on November 9, 2026. However, Procore recommends testing the new list view on a sample test project first, then switching your entire company over whenever you are ready.

Follow the step-by-step process to transition your project from legacy list view to the modernized Change Events list view:

  1. Navigate to the Company level Admin tool.

  2. Click on Procore Explore.

  3. In the Procore Explore catalog, scroll or search for Modernized Change Events 2.0.

  4. Select the specific project(s) where you want to activate the new view and toggle the feature ON.

    • Note: You can also enable the modernized list view at the Company level through Procore Explore.

  5. Open the Change Events tool from the project tools drop-down menu.

  6. Confirm that the modernized view is active:

    1. Event descriptions are displayed directly below the titles.

    2. The new Grouped Filters panel is available above the list view.

  7. Click Table Settings / Columns to show or hide fields based on team preference.

  8. Click the Filters menu to isolate events by Status, Scope, Reason, or Vendor. 

  9. Save your column layout and applied filters as a custom view for easy access across your team.
