Link Leveled Bid Values to the Estimate

Managing subcontractor bids is now more integrated than ever, allowing you to bridge the gap between bid leveling and your final project estimate. By viewing all leveled bids and identifying the most competitive offers, you can link specific values directly back to your estimate with a single click. This streamlined workflow ensures your estimate reflects real-time market pricing while eliminating the need for manual data entry.

• Required Permissions:

  • 'Admin' permissions to the Bidding tool.
    AND

  • 'Admin' permissions to the Estimating tool.

Bidding tool Steps:

1. Navigate to the project's Bidding tool.

2. Click View or the name of the relevant bid package.
   Note: You can also click the name of the bid package.

3. Click the bid form name.

4. Click the Bid Leveling tab.

5. Click the Leveled Bids view.

6. Click the ellipsisicon next to the relevant company.

7. Select Show Bid in Estimating.

8. A green banner will appear saying the bid is successfully showing in Estimating

9. Click Show to go to the Estimating tool.

Estimating tool Steps:

1. You can view the bid values in the Total Bid Value column.

2. Once the values are confirmed, click the ellipsisicon in the Bid Recipient column.

3. Click Set as Estimate Value.

4. The link icon will turn from gray to black once the bid value is set as the estimate value.
