Perform Bulk Actions on Inspections

Beta

The ability to perform mass edits, bulk assignee updates, and bulk delete/restore operations across inspection items is currently in Open Beta. Company Administrators can enable Inspections: Bulk Actions & Delete/Restore in Procore Explore for your organization.

Manage high-volume inspection records efficiently by performing multi-item updates simultaneously. Execute edits, reassign team members, download files, and delete or restore multiple inspections in a single workflow.

Things to Consider

  • Required Permissions:

    • Read-Only: Select items to perform bulk downloads.

    • Standard: Perform bulk edits and assignee management on inspections you have permission to edit.

    • Admin: Perform bulk edits, add or replace assignees, delete items, and restore items from the Recycle Bin

  • Additional Information:

    • Selection limit: Select the top header checkbox to select all visible records across row groupings.

    • Custom fields: Configure standard and custom fields in the Bulk Edit panel to modify supported inspection form inputs.

Prerequisites

  • Turn on the feature via Procore Explore as a Company Administrator.

  • Enable the Modernized Inspections List View Beta for your project.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Inspections tool.

  2. Mark the checkboxes next to the items you want to modify, or mark the header checkbox to select all visible items.

  3. Perform the desired bulk action from the action bar:

    • Edit inspection fields:

      • Click Edit.

      • Update the standard or custom fields in the Bulk Edit side panel.

      • Click Update.

    • Add assignees:

      • Click + Add Assignee.

      • Select team members.

      • Confirm the assignment.

    • Replace assignees:

      • Click Replace Assignee.

      • Select the current assignee to remove.

      • Select the new assignee to replace them.

      • Confirm the replacement.

    • Delete inspections:

      • Click Delete.

      • Confirm the deletion in the prompt to move items to the Recycle Bin.

    • Restore deleted inspections:

      • Click the Recycle Bin tab.

      • Select the checkboxes next to deleted items.

      • Click Restore.
