View Items on the Map (iOS)

Using the Project Map tool in the Procore mobile app, you can view items for Inspections, Photos, Punch List, and RFIs directly on the map.

You can view your project’s home location and map layers. You can also see the Project Overview section that displays a mini map for quick spatial context.

• Required User Permissions:

  • Admin permissions on the Project Map tool.

  • Standard permissions on the Project Map tool with appropriate permissions enabled on the following Procore tools: Inspections, Photos, Punch List, or RFIs.

1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device and select a project.
   The Project Overview screen loads with the Project Map section.

2. In the Project Overview section, tap the mini map.
   This provides a high-level view of your project with quick spatial context.

3. .To view the project's home location, tap on the icon in the Project Map section.
   This project home pin denotes the address of the project. You can see the full project address.
   Note. You can also see the Share option for sharing the the project address.

4. To view your spatial data in the desired map layer, do the following:

   1. Tap the icon.

   2. Select a map layer.
      The following map layers are supported: KML/KMZ, GeoTIFF, and WMS.
      Note: You can also use the icon to show or hide the map layers.

5. To view the tool items, do the following:

   1. In the Project Map section, tap on the map.
      This loads the Tool screen for the project.

   2. Select a tool from the Tool drop-down menu.
      The Tool drop-down menu displays the following options: Inspections, Photos, Punch List, and RFIs.
      Note: Selecting a tool displays its corresponding pins for associated items. For example, selecting the RFI tool shows all RFI pins for associated items, while selecting the Photo tool displays thumbnail previews on the map.

   3. Tap on a tool item or the tool pin to see the tool item in detail.
      Note: If there are multiple pins on the same location, tap on the number pin to open the cluster and see individual items. See Create Tool Items on the Map (iOS).
