Create a Resource Request (iOS)

Resource Planning on mobile is in beta and available to customers who have project syncing enabled.

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.

  2. Select the project.

  3. Initiate the request.

    • Tap the quick create Icon Plus Quick Create Mobile2 icon, and select Equipment Request or Labor Request.

    • Tap the create Icon Plus Quick Create Mobile icon on the Resource Planning tool, and select Equipment Request or Labor Request.

    • Tap the Resource Planning tool and tap the create Icon Plus Quick Create Mobile2 icon. Select Equipment Request or Labor Request.

  4. Enter the 'Specification' information.

    Show/Hide Fields

    • Project. The project the resource is needed for.

    • Category. The assignment's category.

    • Subcategory. The assignment's subcategory.

  5. Enter the 'Resources Needed'.

    Show/Hide Fields

    • Labor

      • Job Title. The job title required to perform the work.

      • Quantity. The quantity of labor requests to create.

    • Equipment.

      1. Equipment Type. The type of equipment needed to perform the work.

      2. Quantity. The quantity of labor requests to create.

  6. Enter the 'Schedule' information.

    Show/Hide Fields

    • Set By. The request format, either by 'Start Week and Duration', or by 'Allocation' of time.

      • Start Week and Duration

        • Start Time. The start time for the assignment.

        • End Time. The end time for the assignment.

      • Allocation

        • Percentage. The Percent of the resource's time that is allocated for the request.

    • Start Date. The date the work assignment starts.

    • End Date. The date the work assignment ends.

    • Status. The assignment's status.

    • Work Days. The work days for the request.

    • Tags. Tags associated with the labor request.

  7. Tap to enter the 'Scope of Work'.
    Note: Information entered here is automatically added to the assignment alert for the assignee who is fulfilling the request.

  8. Tap to enter 'Assignment Instructions'.
    Note: Information entered here is automatically added to the assignment alert for the assignee who is fulfilling the request.

  9. Tap Create Request.
