Collaborate on Connected RFIs

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions on the project's Connection Manager tool.

  • Additional Information:

    • RFIs that reside in the project's recycle bin are ineligible for cross account collaborations.

    • When an RFI is sent, the Created By, Responsible Contractor, and Received From fields in the Sending account automatically populate with the information of the user who initiated the export.

    • The Private field populates based on the Sending account's settings, not by the Receiving account's choice to collaborate.

    • In the Sending account, a connected RFI will display the following information:

      • Status: The RFI status is always set to Draft.

      • Number: A read-only field next to the RFI number shows the source company and original RFI number.

      • Created By: This field displays the name of the user from the receiving account who initiated the collaboration, along with a 'via Procore Connect' label.

Important!

You can only send an RFI from the Receiving project to the Sending project once per RFI.
