Enable or Disable Columns in a Budget or Forecasting View

There are four types of columns available for use in budget or forecasting views: Standard, Calculated, Forecast to Complete, and Source.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Admin' level permissions on the Company level Admin tool.

Steps

Budget View

  1. Follow the relevant steps to create or edit a budget view.

  2. In the Columns panel, manage your budget view table layout:

    • Show a column: Click the toggle on Icon Toggle Off icon next to the desired column name. Enabled columns will appear in the table layout on the right.

       Note

      The Budget Notes feature allows users to create editable notes for budget line items, making it easier to track and manage financial details. This is done by adding the Budget Notes column to your budget view.

      Users can filter their Budget to show line items with notes, and export them in PDF or CSV formats for comprehensive reporting and collaboration. Additionally, the Budget Notes feature is supported by the 360 Reporting tool.

    • Hide a column: Click the toggle off Icon Toggle On icon next to the desired column name to exclude it from the view.

    • Filter options: Use the search bar, filter by Column Type, or mark the Show enabled columns only checkbox to refine the list of available columns.

  3. Click Save.

Forecasting View

  1. Follow the relevant steps to create or edit a forecasting view.

  2. In the Columns panel, manage your forecasting view table layout:

    • Show a column: Click the toggle on Icon Toggle Off icon next to the desired column name. Enabled columns will appear in the table layout on the right.
