Edit a Coordination Issue with the Procore BIM Plugin

The Coordination Issues tool helps you manage and resolve conflicts within your BIM models. Keeping coordination issues up to date ensures that your team has the most accurate information to resolve model conflicts quickly.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • Additional Information:

    • You cannot edit the 'Source File', 'Created From', 'Date Created', or 'Attachments' fields.

    • Edits made in the Procore web application automatically sync with the Procore BIM Plugin.

    • If you edit an issue with the Procore BIM Plugin while the Procore web application is open, you must refresh your browser to see the updates.

Steps

  1. Open Navisworks® and your model on your computer. See Getting Started: Procore BIM Plugin for Coordination Issues.

  2. With the Procore tab selected, click Issues List.

  3. In the All Issues or Assigned to Me list, hover over the issue to edit.

  4. Click Info.

  5. Click in any editable field to modify the information.

    Select the level of urgency: Low, Medium, High, or Critical.

    Watchers

    Select team members to receive email updates.

    Watchers must have at least 'Read Only' permissions for the Coordination Issues tool.

    Trade

    Identify the discipline involved (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical).

    Type

    Categorize the issue for reporting and tracking.

    Options include: Building Code, Clash, Client Feedback, Constructability, Coordination, Design Review, Existing Condition, Requirement Change or Other.

    Private

    Select this checkbox to limit issue visibility.

    When checked, the issue is only visible to the Creator, Assignee, Watchers, and users with 'Admin' level permissions on the Coordination Issues tool.

    Source File

    Displays the name of the source file.

    Automatically generated if the source file name exists.

    Created From
