Cross-account collaboration allows teams to create, track, and manage RFIs across separate projects/accounts. This connected environment eliminates manual double-data entry, speeds up response times, and gives specialty contractors real-time visibility into RFI statuses and updates.
Initiation & Automatic Creation: When a Receiving account clicks Send , Procore automatically creates a Draft RFI in the Sending project, an external RFI is created in the Receiving project and a live link is established between both RFIs for real-time monitoring.
Persistent Live Linking: A real-time link is established between both RFIs, giving both parties instant visibility into status updates and removing manual double data entry.
Smart Data Mapping: Essential fields (such as Created By, Responsible Contractor, and original RFI number) automatically map to the Sending account while maintaining the Sending account's privacy rules.
