Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

    • How to Access: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • How to Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • How to report critical issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.


Currently, only Admin permissions are available. 'Read-Only' and 'Standard' permission levels are coming soon.

Orbiting and navigating 3D models allows you to examine project components from multiple angles and analyze complex spatial relationships. This visibility ensures that potential design conflicts are identified before construction begins. Utilizing standard mouse gestures and hotkeys optimizes your navigation efficiency within the platform.

    • Navigation actions can be performed using the on-screen controls or with keyboard shortcuts.

Prerequisites

  • Optionally connect a mouse with a functional scroll wheel for optimal navigation capability.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Open a model.

  3. Go to the Navigation Wheel at the bottom of the viewer.

  4. Click Orbit or press the O key.

  5. Manipulate the viewpoint using these tracking movements:

    • Left-click the object and drag left or right to rotate the camera around the surface pivot.

    • Left-click empty space and drag to rotate the entire view around the last pivot or viewer's center.

  6. Pan the model with these actions:

    • Middle-click and drag the mouse across the screen.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key while using a middle-click and dragging.

  7. Zoom in our out of the design by rotating the Scroll wheel.

  8. Adjust the camera perspective vertically by right-clicking and dragging up or down.
