Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

Currently, only Admin permissions are available. 'Read-Only' and 'Standard' permission levels are coming soon.

Tool Modes provide a dedicated workspace within the Next-Gen Viewer by displaying only the necessary controls for an active tool. This streamlined interface eliminates distractions and ensures a consistent workflow across different utilities. Using these modes helps you precisely manipulate tool controls and maintain clean visual layouts without unintentionally interfering with model objects.

  1. Launch the Procore Mobile app on your device.

  2. Go to the desired Procore project.

  3. Tap the Model Manager tool.

  4. Open a model or project view.

  5. Click Measurements .

  7. Drag your finger over any location on the model. Green lines appear to show the location's X, Y, and Z axes. This image shows a laser measurement being taken by dragging the cursor over

    • Yellow: Horizontal (X-axis)

    • Red: Depth (Y-axis)

    • Blue: Vertical (Z-axis)

  9. Optional. Additional dimension options: This image shows the red line in the Laser tool measurement when its in an editable state.

    1. Move a Dimension. To move a dimension, hover over it. Next, tap and drag it to a new position.

    2. Dimension Endpoints. Shapes indicate the type of point selected:

      1. Line: The dimension hits an edge.

      2. Circle: The dimension hits a surface.

      3. Arrows. Directional arrows appear near each line's endpoint. Tap an arrow to extend a dimension to the next surface or edge intersection.

    1. To remove all line segments, hover over the dimension and tap the Icon Delete Trash6 trash can.

    2. To view information, click the Icon Info3 info icon.

  11. When finished, tap This image shows the Exit Mode icon in the Right Toolbar of the Viewer in the Model Manager tool. Save.
