Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

Currently, only Admin permissions are available. 'Read-Only' and 'Standard' permission levels are coming soon.

Using different navigation modes allows you to interact with your 3D models efficiently. When using Default mode, you can quickly switch between view behaviors to inspect layout designs or present structural details from a static or mobile camera position.

Prerequisites

  • Optionally connect a mouse with a functional scroll wheel for optimal navigation capability.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool. .

  2. Open a model.

  3. Click the Navigation Wheel at the bottom of the viewer.

  4. Click Default or press the D key to activate the default navigation state.

  5. Choose from these actions to control the camera movements:

    • Look Around: Left-click and drag on the screen to rotate your camera view from a fixed, static position.

    • Zoom: Scroll your mouse wheel forward or backward to move the camera view closer to or further from the model.

    • Pan: Middle-click and drag across the workspace to slide the camera view vertically or horizontally.

    • Orbit Pivot: Right-click and drag on a specific object to orbit the camera directly around that localized focal point.

    • Orbit Center: Right-click and drag on an empty space to rotate the camera around the current center view or your last defined pivot point.
