When working in a complex 3D environment, quickly identifying the location of specific project items is essential for coordination. This feature allows you to jump directly to items associated with supported Procore tools, such as Coordination Issues or Inspections, within the 3D space. If the model is mapped to 2D drawings, Procore provides additional context by highlighting the item's location on a 2D Minimap.
What's the difference between a link & a pin in a model? A link ties an item in a Procore tool directly to a physical 3D model object (like a specific pipe or door). It does not require dropping a spatial pin. A pin ties a record to a specific spatial coordinate (X, Y, Z location) in the model by dropping a visual 3D pin.

Follow these steps to find a linked or pinned item in the federated project model.
Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.
Open the federated project model.
Click Items in the left toolbar.
In the Items panel, click one of the connected Procore tools to reveal that tool's list of items.
In the items list, you can enter keywords or numbers to search for an existing item. 
Click any item's card to jump to it in the model. If a pin exits, you'll see its pin highlighted in its status color in the model space. Any other pinned items become transparent in the space.
At the top of each item card, is a row of icons. When you hover over some icons, a tooltip appears. 
Status. Shows the item's active status in the corresponding Procore tool. You can click the arrow on the status pill to change the item's status.
This Item is Pinned. A pin icon only appears when that item is pinned to the model. If a pin doesn't exist, a +Pin button appears to let you create a new pin. An item can only be linked or pinned, not both. 
This Item is Linked. A box icon only appears when the item is linked to a model. An item can only be linked or pinned, not both. If a link doesn't exist, you can right-click the object in the model and choose Link to Existing Item from the context menu.
This Item has Viewpoints. A camera icon only appears when viewpoints exist. If a viewpoint doesn't exist, the icon is grayed out.
This Item has Activity. Click the arrow icon to open the item in the panel and show its Activity tab. This tab summarizes completed actions for the item.
View Item. Click to open the item in the left toolbar's Items panel.
