The Model Manager (Beta) features and documentation are subject to change without notice.

    • How to Access: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • How to Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • How to report critical issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.


Currently, only Admin permissions are available. Procore will add more permission levels later.

Adjusting visibility allows you to condition your model by isolating the exact parts of a project you need to review. By hiding unnecessary elements or revealing specific layers, you can navigate complex models more efficiently and share precise views with your project team.

Control Layer Visibility with Render Modes

Render modes lets you control layer visibility on a model.

    Use these steps to toggle visibility for data types within the model.

    1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

    2. Open a model.

    3. In the viewer, click the Render Modes icon in the right toolbar.

    4. Move a toggle to the Right (ON) to make it visible or move it to the Left (OFF) to hide it from the workspace. Options include:

      • Lines

      • Mesh

      • Point Clouds

View Obscured Components or Internal Layous with X-Ray Mode

X-Ray increases model transparency to view obscured components or internal layouts without hiding outer geometry.

    Follow these steps to turn X-Ray ON and OFF. X-Ray increases model transparency to view obscured components or internal layouts without hiding outer geometry.

    1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

    2. Open a model.

    3. In the viewer, click the X-Ray icon in the right toolbar to turn X-Ray ON.

    4. Click again to turn X-Ray OFF.
