Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

    • How to Access: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • How to Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • How to report critical issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.


Currently, only Admin permissions are available. 'Read-Only' and 'Standard' permission levels are coming soon.

Walk mode allows you to navigate fluidly through a 3D model using mouse movements and keyboard shortcuts. This feature enhances your ability to inspect complex spatial layouts and view design details from multiple angles and perspectives.

    • Increase or decrease the camera's walkthrough speed by moving your cursor further from or closer to the click point.

Prerequisites

  • Optionally connect a mouse with a functional scroll wheel for optimal navigation capability.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool. .

  2. Open a model.

  3. Go to the Navigation Wheel at the bottom of the viewer.

  4. Click Walk or press the W key.

  5. Move the camera using these options:

    Tip

    Want to accelerate movement speed? Hold down the SHIFT key while left-clicking.

    • Left-click and drag the cursor up or down to move forward into or backward away from the model.

    • Left-click and drag the cursor left or right to rotate the camera perspective clockwise or counterclockwise.

  6. Continue to navigate by choosing from these fly options:

    • Use the mouse scroll wheel to rotate the camera angle up or down.

    • Middle-click and drag the mouse to shift the camera position perpendicular to the view axis (up, down, left, or right).

    • Right-click and drag the mouse to initiate standard orbital rotation around a fixed object point.
