Model Manager, Procore’s next-generation replacement for the Models tool, officially launches in General Availability across the UK and Ireland (UKI) on October 13, 2026, alongside a global Beta for all other regions. Procore Mobile App (iOS/Android) support is also live in Beta as Procore continues to transform 3D model workflows. Stay tuned for additional features in future releases.

Model Manager Beta: Access & Guidelines

  • Registration: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator will coordinate with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager on specific projects. It is not available in Procore Explore.

  • Support & Feedback: Please report critical or breaking issues directly to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback, feature requests, and non-critical issues, contact your dedicated Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

  • Beta Notice: This feature and its supporting documentation are in active development. Beta services are provided strictly "as is" for evaluation purposes, carry no standard warranties or liability, and are subject to change or discontinuation without notice. Orbiting and navigating 3D models allows you to examine project components from multiple angles and analyze complex spatial relationships. This visibility ensures that potential design conflicts are identified before construction begins. Utilizing standard mouse gestures and hotkeys optimizes your navigation efficiency within the platform.

Steps

  1. Tap the Procore icon on your device to launch the Procore Mobile app.

  2. Select the model file to open it.

  3. Use these mobile gestures to manipulate your camera view:

    Tip

    To hide the joysticks, tap Settings and tap the toggle to the OFF position.

    • Orbit (Object & Center Pivot): Drag one finger in any direction on the screen to orbit your camera view around the model. To orbit around a specific object's surface pivot, simply tap that physical object first to select it and set it as your focal point, then drag your finger. Dragging on empty space will rotate your view around the last defined pivot point.

    • Pan: Drag two fingers in any direction (left, right, up, or down) across the screen to slide the camera view horizontally or vertically.

    • Zoom: Pinch two fingers together to zoom out of the design, or spread two fingers apart to zoom in. You can also double-tap any individual object to instantly focus and zoom the camera directly to it.

    • Vertical Perspective Adjustment: Drag the left-most Up/Down joystick upward to raise your camera height, or downward to lower your height vertically.
