Model Manager, Procore’s next-generation replacement for the Models tool, officially launches in General Availability across the UK and Ireland (UKI) on October 13, 2026, alongside a global Beta for all other regions. Procore Mobile App (iOS/Android) support is also live in Beta as Procore continues to transform 3D model workflows. Stay tuned for additional features in future releases.
As a field team member on a mobile device, you do not need to press a manual Sync button to update your 3D models or coordination items. The Procore Mobile app (iOS and Android) automatically synchronizes all model data, 2D sheet overlays, and 3D pins in real-time.

Active Internet Connection: Maintain a cellular or Wi-Fi connection to perform real-time bidirectional synchronization.
Device Storage Limit: Prepare for local client-side caching, which caps local memory usage at 5GB on mobile devices.
Offline Access: Pre-cache models prior to entering areas without internet connectivity to view federated models offline.
An active Procore user account for accessing Procore web and the Procore Mobile app (iOS/Android).

How automatic syncing works in the field—and how to ensure you're always viewing the latest project data:
Whenever you are connected to cellular data or Wi-Fi on the job site, your mobile app is constantly syncing in the background:
Pins & Coordination: If an office coordinator creates a new Coordination Issue, Observation, or Punch List pin on the web, it will immediately sync with your mobile viewer.
Status Changes: If you change the status of an issue on your mobile device (e.g., changing an Observation from Open to Ready for Review), that update immediately syncs back to the office web viewer.
Saved Views: Any new public views or viewpoint folders created are automatically refreshed and ready to open on your mobile landing page.
When a design team uploads a new version of a model file (such as an updated Revit® or IFC file), a tool Admin has the option to manually update or auto-update the file version and trigger the re-federation process.
No manual steps: You won't need to manually pull updates once re-federation completes.
Instant streaming: The next time you open the federated project model, it automatically streams the latest physical geometry directly to your device.
To keep the Procore Mobile app running efficiently and to help save your cellular data limits, Procore uses smart, client-side caching:
Local storage: The Procore Mobile app caches up to 5GB of model data on your device.
Faster load times: Reopened models load instantly from local memory, downloading only the specific, incremental updates made since your last view.
Coming Soon Real-time syncing requires an active Wi-Fi or cellular signal. Offline functionality is currently under exploration for future updates.
