Model Snapshots preserve a point-in-time model state, camera angle, and section volume to focus on project areas relevant to your work. You can review curated views with less visual clutter without opening the full live scene. This allows teams to complete focused coordination and field reviews efficiently.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • Additional Information:

    • Static Geometry: Expect a snapshot to only include the geometry captured when created. Unhide objects or adjust section volumes in the live model before saving if critical detail is missing.

    • Read-Only State: Treat snapshots as read-only views that do not change the saved model state when viewed.

    • Live Scene Differences: Expect snapshot content to differ from current live scenes because updates made after snapshot creation do not display.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have permission to access the Model Manager tool and available model snapshots.
