Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

    • An item can be linked or pinned, not both.

    • If the model is mapped to 2D sheets, the 2D Minimap highlights the item's location. See Map 2D Sheets to the Project Model.

Steps

Follow these steps to find a linked or pinned item.

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. View a model.

  3. Click Items in the left toolbar.

  4. In the Items panel, click one of the connected Procore tools to reveal that tool's list of items.

  5. Enter keywords or numbers in the Search field to find an existing item.

  6. Click any item's card to jump to it in the model. If a pin exits, you'll see its pin highlighted in its status color in the model space. Any other pinned items become transparent in the space.

  8. Review the row of icons at the top of each item card. Hover over an icon to see its tool tip.

    • Status. Shows the item's active status in the corresponding Procore tool. Click the arrow on the status pill to change the item's status.

    • This Item is Pinned. Appears only when the item is pinned to the model. If a pin doesn't exist, a +Pin button appears so you can create a new pin.     • This Item is Linked. A box icon appears only when the item is linked to a model. If a link doesn't exist, right-click the object in the model and choose Link to Existing Item from the context menu.

    • This Item has Viewpoints. A camera icon appears only when viewpoints exist. If a viewpoint doesn't exist, the icon is grayed out.

    • This Item has Activity. Click the arrow icon to open the item in the panel and show its Activity tab. This tab summarizes completed actions for the item.

    • View Item. Click to open the item in the left toolbar's Items panel
