Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

    For information about Beta Services, see the Procore Subscription Services Agreement. This documentation supports a product currently in Beta; content is actively being developed for General Availability (GA) and may be incomplete.

Procore is finalizing functionality and documentation for general availability in the UK and Ireland (UKI). Please check back here for updates.

The Reset button in Measure Tools tracks modifications made to a model's geometry, such as hidden objects, measurements, and section planes. Use this feature to toggle individual changes on and off. You can also reset all actions at once to apply modifications to your view without altering your current camera position.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  • Additional Information:

    • Reset individual actions: Actions such as hiding items, placing coordinates, taking measurements, and adding section planes are automatically saved to the Reset button's memory so you can toggle individual actions on or off. This is only supported in the Procore web application.

    • Reset all: Resetting all actions applies your changes to the view without changing your current camera position. Reset all is supported on both the Procore web application and Procore Mobile app (iOS/Android).

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Open a project model.

  3. Click Measure Tools.

  4. Apply modifications to the model using the available tool. Examples include:

    • Add a section plane

    • Apply measurements

    • Hide selected geometry

    • Isolate objects

  5. After completing one (1) action, the system begins populating the Reset button's menu with a list of changes that you can toggle on or off.

  6. Click Reset to view the list of applied modifications.

  7. Reset modifications while keeping your current camera view:

    1. Reset individually. Toggle individual modifications (e.g., Measurements, Sectioning, or Hidden Objects) to reset them independently. This is only supported in the Procore web application.

    2. Reset all. Click Reset to clear everything at once. This is supported in the Procore web application and the Procore Mobile app (iOS/Android).
