Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

Use the Point to Point tool to verify spatial relationships in your models. By selecting specific edges or lines, you can generate precise measurement strings that help you understand the exact dimensions and orientations of the model's elements.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Open a project model.

  3. In the right toolbar, click Measure Tools.

  4. Click Point to Point to activate the mode. The cursor changes to a target shape.

  5. Hover over the model to preview snap points along lines and edges, then click to set your first point.

  6. Click another line or edge to set the next point. Your first measurement is green, and Procore suggests your next measurements in red and blue.

  7. Click as many points as needed to create a measurement string. Procore labels the following data:

    • Length and slope of each line

    • Z-coordinate of each point

    • Corner angles

    • Total segment length

  8. Press ENTER or click This shows the Save and Exit button in the right toolbar in the viewer in the Model Manager tool Save and Exit to exit the mode. Your measurements remain visible in the model.

  9. Optional. Additional options:

    • Adjust a point measurement. Hover over a point. When the hand icon appears, drag the point to a new location. Use this correct a point placed off a snap target.

    • Delete an entire measurement string. Hover over the measurement and click the Icon Delete Trash6 Trash Can icon in the center.

    • Show or hide the Z-coordinate and angle values. Click This image shows the Tool Settings icon that appears when Measure Tools are open in the right toolbar of the Next-Gen Viewer in Model Manager. Tool Settings and toggle the Show Value (Z) and the angle display on or off.

    • Lock a measurement to vertical or horizontal. Click This image shows the Tool Settings icon that appears when Measure Tools are open in the right toolbar of the Next-Gen Viewer in Model Manager. Tool Settings and toggle Lock Vertical or Lock Horizontal on for even vertical or horizontal line alignment.
