Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

Currently, only Admin permissions are available. 'Read-Only' and 'Standard' permission levels are coming soon.

Removing links or pins from your 3D model allows you to maintain an accurate and up-to-date federated scene. By disconnecting items that are no longer relevant to specific model objects, you ensure that the team has access to the most precise project information.

Prerequisites

Steps

Follow these steps to remove a linked or pinned item from the federated scene.

  1. Navigate to the Model Manager (Beta) tool.

  2. Open the federated project model.

  3. Locate the linked or pinned item that you want to remove. See Find a Linked or Pinned Item in the Federated Scene.

  4. Click the Open icon to view the item in its Procore source tool.

  5. In the Procore source tool, click the More icon and choose Delete.

Note

Don't see a Delete option in the Procore source tool? Some Procore source tools do not allow you to delete items because records are part of your project's permanent historical record. For coordination issues, your can alternatively choose Mark as Closed. To learn more about each tool, search for the source tool's Product Manual on the Procore Support Site.
