Procore Model Manager - Beta Access & Feedback

The Model Manager (Beta) tool is exclusively available to registered beta participants. It is not available through Procore Explore. To learn more, see Beta Participant Guide.

  • To access the beta and provide feedback Show/Hide Details

    • To register: Participating companies must sign the Procore Beta Agreement. Once signed, your Procore Administrator coordinates with your Procore point of contact to enable Model Manager (Beta) on specific Procore projects.

    • To Provide Feedback During Beta: Contact your dedicated Beta program lead.

    • To report issues: Report breaking changes to Procore Customer Support. For general feedback or non-critical issues, contact your Beta program lead or Procore point of contact.

The Next-Gen Viewer lets you to isolate objects to focus on specific components of your project. Isolating objects hides other elements in the model, helping you clear visual clutter and focus on the details that matter most. You have these options when isolating objects:

  • Isolate. Leaves your selected object (or group of objects) visible in the viewer, completely hiding all other objects from the view.

  • Isolate in X-Ray Mode. Keeps your selected object fully visible, but rather than hiding the rest of the model, it displays all other unselected objects in a transparent, X-Ray view.

You can isolate objects as follows:

Isolate an Object

  1. Open a model in the viewer.

  2. Click an object in the 3D view to select it.

  3. Right-click the object and choose Isolate > Isolate. This hides all of the other objects in the 3D view.

  4. Right-click the object again and choose Isolate > Unisolate to restore the hidden objects to the 3D view.

Isolate an Object in X-Ray Mode

  1. Open a model in the viewer.

  2. Click an object in the 3D view to select it.

  3. Right-click the object and choose Isolate > Isolate in X-Ray Mode. This highlights the selected object and applies transparency to the other objects.

From the Object Tree

  1. In the Next-Gen Viewer, click the Object Tree icon.

  2. Mark the checkboxes next to the objects, folders, or files you want to isolate.

  3. Click the Actions menu and choose Isolate or Isolate in X-Ray Mode.
